As if I didn’t already have enough to worry about (flying on Saturday), I’m trying to figure out how to pack my whole wardrobe into a carry-on. 😥
I like to have it and not need it as opposed to, needing it and not having it- makes sense right? With that mentality it’s no wonder I’m always over-packed (and usually overweight). When I went to Majorca last year, I was meant to travel light. I tried to. I reallyyyyy did but it was just not happening and so I bit the bullet and paid for a checked bag. But not this time; I’m determined to not be a Diva. *hair flip*
It’s a weekend break, so what does that mean in my mind? After all, my blog is about fashion so I need an outfit for the flight, an outfit for Saturday night, something for Sunday- I could probably fly back in my Sunday look. *shrug*
The biggest dilemma of them all is- how am I doing my hair? Here’s why- do I need to bring my gel, mousse, leave-in conditioners, oils, shampoo, conditioner, rubber bands, hair pins, hair bands, hair doughnut, hair jewels, brush and combs? And if so, how am I going to pack all of these into my carry-on taking into account restrictions on liquids. *facepalm*
I’ve bought a few of those travel sized bottles and I will attempt to fill them with everything I need but I know the problem will come when I’m at the airport. Sure, everything fits into the bottles but all of my liquids need to then fit into one 20cm x 20cm plastic bag. Bear in my mind I haven’t even BEGUN on my make-up- priming oil, foundation, concealers, setting spray, lip gloss, lipsticks…I think that’s it. Oh! and I’ll need body lotion. #FirstWorldProblems
If all else fails I’m going to have to ask Rav if she has space in her carry-on for my sh*t. x_x
I will figure it out by Friday…or early Saturday morning.
See you in Paris
x
